There are a positive and a negative opinion about death penalty. Nowadays many people think that killing convicted murders will satisfy their need for justice. Moreover, a lot of people think that the death penalty will deter criminals from killing innocent people. Also, a convicted murder is executed, and there are no maintenance costs to the state. On the other hand nobody should be killed, even by the state. Furthermore, it is not fair, because many convicted murders are later found innocent. Christians believe that every person has a right to live and naturally die. All in all, in some countries like USA the death penalty is.
